New Rockshox SID Manual Lockout Remote Conversion Kit

V2 of the manual lockout conversion kit.

You will need a spring e.g. from a ball pen that has a diameter of about 4mm.

You might have to play around with the sizing of the spring. It should be strong enough to keep the locker in place, but also not too hard that it will get tricky to unlock the mechanism.

Tips: 

• Activate dynamic layer height for the contour part

• Assembly is a bit tricky: 

  • First insert spring into the knob

  • Then keep it compressed with a nail or pin from the outside

  • Then add the locker with the chamfered edge facing the spring

• There are two options for the locker. One with a longer lever. Depening on what fits better.
