Protective cover for kitchen cover panel

Our son enjoys cycling laps around the kitchen island, but the bolts of the wheels of his tricycle kept hitting the kitchen panels, which will eventually cause damage. To prevent this, I made a protective plate for the kitchen panels with recessed areas for double-sided tape. It works perfectly; no more damage to the kitchen.

Dimensions:
150 mm high
Outer width: 25mm at its widest
Inner width: 16.15 mm; fits my 16 mm panels perfectly

If necessary, you can use some pieces of double-sided tape on the inside, in the recessed areas (dimensions 12x20 mm).
