Description
I printed mine in PETG on my Bambu A1. You will need a No. 31 (.120) drill to size the holes by hand for the proper fit with the 3x150mm pivot rod aka dowel. You may use aluminum but I prefer stainless steel for the rod. You will also need a pair of .103" dia. x .103" thick Neodynium pill magnets. When gluing the magnets into their respective recesses be sure to observe the polarity of each magnet. I suggest doing one before the other, letting it set and then pretesting the second for proper attraction before placement of the second. Loctite works well but I use two part epoxy. You might also put rubber bumpers on the bottom of the base. Selective utilization of the assorted dividers can provide several options for customization.
Step files for two revisions, -04 and -05 , of the base are provided. The only difference is that the earlier -04 lacks receiving slots for the longest partition that divides the storage area in half.
