Description

Easy and fast to print yet so usefull! Size of 5Kč or 1€

With simple resize you should be able to match any real coin if it doesn't fit specific shopping carts. Some needs bigger size coins.

If you are like me and always need token/coin to take shopping cart with you, when you don't have one, here is solution! Shopping cart token as a keyring, so you put it on your keys and it's always with you! Why to make it boring? Print it as your favorite cryptocurrency token!

It's impossible for me to make token for every cryptocurrency out there so I made the most common ones (in my opinion) and now I will tell you how to create one by yourself if your favorite isn't here:

How to create your token

  1. Download the “BLANK TOKEN.stl” file
  2. Find SVG of your favorite cryptocurrency, my number one choice is https://icons8.com
    1. Here you just find your favorite one download it and save it as a SVG!
  3. Go to tinkercad.com or use any other CAD where you can make 3D object using SVG file
    1. Here you create new project and import the “BLANK TOKEN.stl”
    2. Import the downloaded SVG
    3. Now it's time to kinda merge theese two files together:
      1. Click on the 3D model created from the SVG and match the size roughly to fit into that blank token
      2. Make the SVG model exactly 0.6mm thick and rise it up by 1.9mm
      3. Select both 3D models and press “L” on keyboard
      4. Allign in into middle
      5. And now just export the whole thing as .stl and open it in Slicer

My printing settings

Well it prints fine and withnout any problems. You may occur some issues if you print the first layer or the logo itsefl too fast. If you use default PrusaSlicer profiles you'll get good results.

  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • Polymaker PolyTerra PLA
  • Default Prusa profiles (used the 0.1mm height)

If you see some stringing on the logos as I did just use hotgun or hairdryer after finishing. It won't damage the print and it will burn the strings :)
