Description
If you have a Yamaha P-45 (or any P-series digital piano) with the matching L-85 wooden stand, you know that the side panels are great but offer no place to put your accessories.
I designed these three simple, slide-on gadgets to keep everything tidy. They are designed to fit the specific thickness of the Yamaha wooden stand panels.
Headphone Hanger: Slides over the top edge of the side panel. It’s wide enough to support most headband cushions without leaving a dent.
Cable Organizer: A small clip that holds your power or pedal cables against the back or side of the stand. Print several to route your cables cleanly down the leg.
Doorstopper: A simple, matching wedge to keep your practice room door open (or closed!).
These are designed to be "utilitarian"—fast to print and strong.
Material: PLA or PETG. (Black looks best to match the Yamaha finish).
Infill: 20-30%. For the headphone holder, you might want a few extra walls (3 or 4) to ensure the "hook" part is stiff.
Layer Height: 0.2mm is standard and works perfectly.
Supports: None required. All parts are designed to be printed flat or in an orientation that eliminates the need for supports.
Layer Adhesion: Ensure your hotend temperature is high enough for good bonding, especially for the clips, as they need to flex slightly to snap onto the wood.
These were measured specifically for the Yamaha wooden stand. If your stand uses 16mm or 18mm boards, they should slide right on.
A quick tip for the Cable Holder:
On Printables, I recommend suggesting that users print 3 to 5 of the cable holders. It makes the "cable management" aspect of the model much more appealing when people see how a whole row of them looks!
