Ducato/Jumper/Boxer Rear Door Handle Vertical/Mini

On some Ducato/Jumper/Boxer-based motorhomes, the rear door cannot be opened from the inside because the bed blocks the inner door handle. This mechanism replaces the existing handle with a small handle that opens vertically.

I printed the base plate with PLA, the other two parts in PETG. All parts can be printed without supports.

Hinge and handle are connected with two M4x10 screws. The part can then be inserted into the base plate when it is rotated about 120 degrees to the right from its original position (align the cams!).

The original mechanism is unscrewed at the two screws on the left and right and the wire rope is unhooked. The new mechanism is inserted in the same way and with the original screws.

Depending on the precision of the print, the pins on the rotating part may need to be shortened to allow rotation. This can be done with a sharp knife.

Bei manchen Wohnmobilen auf Ducato/Jumper/Boxer-Basis lässt sich die Hecktür nicht von innen öffnen, da das Bett den inneren Türgriff blockiert. Dieser Mechanismus ersetzt den vorhandenen Griff durch einen kleinen, vertikal öffnenden Griff.

Die Basisplatte habe ich mit PLA gedruckt, die anderen beiden Teile in PETG. Alle Teile können ohne Supports gedruckt werden.

Scharnier und Griff werden mit zwei M4x10-Schrauben miteinander verbunden. Das Teil kann dann in die Basisplatte eingesetzt werden, wenn es aus der Ausgangsposition etwa 120 Grad nach rechts gedreht wird (Nocken abgleichen!).

Der Originalmechanismus wird an den beiden Schrauben links und rechts abgeschraubt und das Drahtseil ausgehängt. Der neue Mechanismus wird auf die gleiche Weise und mit den ursprünglichen Schrauben eingesetzt.

Abhängig von der Präzision des Drucks, müssen möglicherweise die Zapfen am rotierenden Teil gekürzt werden, um eine Drehung zu ermöglichen. Das kann mit einem scharfen Messer gemacht werden.
