Description

The PrusaSpool Telescopic Stool is a upcycling project designed to give a second life to your empty Prusament spools. Unlike simple spool hacks, this is a fully engineered, height-adjustable, and portable seating solution.

The design combines the iconic look of the Prusament spool with a robust, 5-stage telescopic mechanism. The top seat is integrated directly into a Prusament spool side (the latest NFC version), while the base is a custom-designed wide foot for maximum stability during workshop use.

Print Settings & Materials

• Material: ~848g of filament (Prusament PETG Galaxy Black & Orange recommended).

• Perimeters: 4 

• Infill: 30% Gyroid

• Layers: 5 Bottom / 5 Top layers.

• Supports: NO (Support-free geometry).

• Brim: Not required (if your bed adhesion is well-calibrated).

💡 Pro-Tip: The pins connecting the spool seat to the telescopic core are designed for a tight friction fit. However, if your tolerances are slightly loose, a single drop of superglue (CA glue) will secure it permanently.

PrusaSpool Telescopic Stool je upcycling projekt navržený tak, aby dal druhý život vašim prázdným cívkám od Prusamentu. Na rozdíl od jednoduchých „vychytávek“ se jedná o plně navrženou, výškově nastavitelnou a přenosnou stoličku.

Design kombinuje ikonický vzhled cívky Prusament s robustním, pětistupňovým teleskopickým mechanismem. Horní sedák je integrován přímo do bočnice cívky (podpora nejnovější verze s NFC), zatímco základna je tvořena vlastním širokým dílem pro maximální stabilitu při dílenském použití.

💡 Tip pro montáž: Geometrie trnů pro spojení špulky s nohou je navržena jako těsný spoj, který drží sám o sobě. Pokud by však byla vůle kvůli tolerancím tisku větší, stačí spoj zajistit kapkou vteřinového lepidla.
