Description
My hydroponics towers are on a rotating base plate.
Rotate
In order to keep the dispenser working AND keep the tower free to rotate the feed hose has to be free of the dispenser. So I removed the hosebarb and center and stuck the hose through it. That worked but onky with a 'spreader'. Otherwise the water ran along the hose only.
See picture of itterations.
Clogging
After a few days the bacteria slime clogges up the tiny holes. Cleaning is not that hard but the water has the tendency to prefer one side to drip from. Drying out the plants in the other sides. So I designed a moot and a weir. Distributing the water evenly.
With the bigger holes the clogging is gone. I do clean the every now and then. See picture.
Materials
I also lower the height to save on materials. See picture.
