Textured Coat hook « design and elegant »

Here’s an item I’d place in the ‘Practical & Technical’ section

I’ve designed these coat hooks in two different styles: the first is organic, and the second is, shall we say… ‘edgy’.

The coat hook consists of two parts (which I recommend printing in two colours):

- A block fixed to the wall with three types of STL file

• screw fixing

• screw fixing + washer (better to avoid crushing the print, which isn’t very strong when made from PLA)

• double-sided tape mounting (smooth surface without holes)*

- A sliding block that fits inside the first block to hide the fixings; this part is textured.

Dimensions, once assembled:

30 mm wide x 61 mm deep x 92 mm high

Printing: I recommend a 0.4 mm nozzle (0.25/0.3 mm layer thickness for the textured part) – a good compromise between finish and printability for a model of this size.

Style: For the contrast effect, I recommend using two colours with contrasting tones for the wall mount and the textured part.

NOTE: - “The presentation image is a computer-generated rendering, but the print has been simulated in the slicer to ensure a satisfactory result. My extensive experience allows me to determine whether, by following my recommended settings, the print will turn out well. You can find an image of the slicing simulation in the photos. ”

- The orientation of the textured block in the STL file relative to the build plate is adjusted for better detail in the print (you can, of course, orient it so that the face parallel to the wall is parallel to the build plate, but the details will not stand out as well).

Voici un object que je mettrai dans la rubrique « Utile-technique »

J’ai conçu ces patères dans 2 styles différents, le premier organique et le deuxième, disons... «rapeux ».

Le patère est composé de 2 parties (que je vous conseille d’imprimer en 2 couleurs) :

- Un bloc fixé au mur avec 3 types de fichier STL

• fixation par vis

• fixation par vis + rondelle (mieux pour ne pas écraser l’impression qui n’est pas très résistante quand elle est en PLA)

• fixation par double face (surface lisse sans trou)*

- Un bloc coulissant dans le premier bloc pour masquer les fixations, cette partie est texturée.

Ses dimensions, une fois montée :

30 mm largeur x 61 mm profondeur x 92 mm hauteur

Impression : Je recommande une buse de 0.4 mm (couche de 0.25/0.3 pour la partie texturée) bon compromis entre rendu et application à un modèle de cette taille.

Style : Je recommande pour l’effet de contraste 2 couleurs aux tonalités opposées entre support mural et partie texturée.

NOTA : - « Le rendu de présentation est une image de synthèse, mais l'impression a été simulée au slicer pour garantir un résultat satisfaisant. Mes nombreuses réalisations me permettent de définir si, en utilisant mes conseils de réglages, l'impression sera convaincante. Vous pouvez trouver une image de la simulation du tranchage dans les photos. »

- L’orientation du bloc texturé du fichier STL par rapport au plateau est réglée pour un meilleur résultat d’impression des détails ( en effet vous pouvez l’orienter telle que la face parallèle au mur soit parallèle au plateau mais les détails ressortiront moins bien).
