Description
I designed this holder to store multiple square and rectangular IKEA 360+ lids in the narrow space between the inside of a cabinet door and the front edge of the shelves. In my case, this gap is about 4.5 cm.
Because the space is so limited, I couldn’t use a holder that stores multiple lids in one slot. I also wanted to avoid taking up any shelf space, so the design uses only the unused space behind the cabinet door.
The goal was to make the lids easy to access while supporting both square and rectangular shapes.
The design consists of two main parts:
A base that mounts to the inside of the cabinet door
A mount piece that holds the lid
These two parts are secured together using two short screws (3.5x16mm).
I also included a double-base version, which fits on my Prusa Core One+ print bed. If you need more capacity, the design is stackable. Each base has a recess on the back and an optional connector piece to help with alignment. The connectors are not required but can make stacking easier.
Each single section has one screw hole for mounting to the door. The double-base version has two screw holes, providing extra stability.
Make sure the space between the back of the cabinet door and the front edge of the shelf is no more than 4.5 cm for a proper fit. Otherwise your cabinet door will not be able to close properly.
