Description
Designed this for a friend who was having difficulty walking through the garden while using crutches. It spreads out the weight over a larger area to minimize sinking into soft surfaces.
This model was designed for flexible filament (TPU 95A), and a crutch tube diameter of 22mm. The STEP file is included to allow modification for other tube diameters or dimensions.
Supports are not required.
0.2mm layer height works fine.
Print with a minimum of 8 bottom layers, 4 perimeters, and gyroid infill at 15%.
For increased stiffness, increase the thickness of the bottom and perimeters, or increase the infill density. This could be printed with solid infill at the expense of increased print time and filament consumption.
Please DO NOT use the .bgcode file that has been provided (always slice your own files for your specific printer, filament, environment, etc.). The file was only included to provide a reference for approximate print time.
