Description
Bit of a smaller overall file release but here it is!! I'm super happy with how this turned out and I gained a lot of interest in the Type 1 itself while working on this project :)

For assembly instructions, just look at the printables for the Penetrators and type 3 Allertor. It's all the exact same in terms of assembly.
(NEW ADDITION) Although everything is mainly the same, there is a different setup you can do for the rotators. On early type 1's, the whole sound-producing front of the siren sits foreward on the rotator which leaves a big gap between the base of the horn and the rotator frame. On later Allertors, (which you commonly see on 8/12 Allertors), the horns are pushed back to be flush with the frame. I'll add an image below to show exactly what this means but which ever rotator you choose, make sure to download the corresponding parts for it!
However there are a few differences and the first is in the pulley system. For that, you'll want to press one end of a shaft coupler into the large hole and thread a long M3 bolt through the sleeve and the coupler to lock them together. Then just use the setscrew on the other side of the coupler to attach it to the motor and line up the positions with the other pulley on the gearbox motor! (Don't mind the extra M3 bolt, that was just for me to get the pulley sizes right)
There's also the addition of the Bottom Outer Rotator Plate which goes underneath the bottom of the rotator cover with the small lip side facing up into the rotator cover. Make sure to also add silicone grease to the rotator tubes and the bottom where all the weight sits or the plastic will slowly eat out over time
The horn is also attached with M2 bolts through inserts on the motor cover back (yes those holes are for M2 inserts!)
The horn IS compatible so if you'd like to make a type 1 with the type 3's horn, you can do so! (mini Waldorf would be epic!)
And for mounts and stands, also check the type 3 allertor printables
