ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

for the chest, the two pieces need to be assembled together by the cylindrical rod beside it.

same goes for the lever, both parts are joined with a cylindrical rod.

and for the piston the main piston block has a hole through which the piston rod passes.
