Description
A simple cap for a metal detector coil plug. Keep dirt and water out of your plug to prolong the life and make better connections.
It will fit on the standard plugs for Minelab SD, GP, GPX detectors, and others using a 10mm diameter plug.
I printed it in TPU for some flexibility. Use smooth spiral vase mode for a quick easy print.
One wall thickness 0.8mm with a 0.4mm nozzle, no top layers, no infill. This makes for a tight fit.
Printing by object leaves no stringing. You might be able to fit more than nine on a plate, that was all I needed.
Uses less than 0.5 grams of TPU, and takes about 40 minutes on a BBL A1 to print nine of them.
