Description
will turn your gel blaster hi capa into a bb airsoft gun and will fire 6mm bb's.
the bucking is printed using tpu85, and the inner barrel using abs.
to get it perfect, you need to roll up 400 grit sandpaper, and sand the inner barrel spacer, keep testing with bb until either the bb falls through the barrel or you can blow it out using your mouth. it should fit snugly in the inner barrel and not move when inserted all the way.
to print the bucking, i used 0.6mm nozzle and 0.8mm nozzle, i found the 8mm worked best. tpu85 is not compatible with 0.2 and 0.4mm nozzle. you can also use tpu ams version, its much harder but still works. print it slow 225 degrees c.
your printer settings need to be perfect in order to get the accurate dimensions, we are talking in fractions of a millimeter perfect. so the parts have been made to my printers offsets. its a bambu x1c. wall generator is set to classic, precise wall and hole compensation left unticked. 0.24 layer height scarf joint for inner walls ticked. line width 0.82, and tpu85 flow ratio 0.95
print the inner barrel on a angle to get the highest strength and accurate shape. drag it lower than the print bed so that the full barrel touches the bed at an angel and use brim. (see photo) no support needed if printed slightly less than 45 degrees.
for the inner barrel spacer i used a 0.2mm nozzle. printed using classic wall generator, if using a larger nozzle you need to use arachne wall generator otherwise the slicer wont pick it up.
