The Hummingbird & Hibiscus w/Supports-REMIX

I really like The Hummingbird & Hibiscus by gustofusion. I wanted to make sure it was a printable item as even his description mentions needing special supports.

I imported the model into SolidWorks and added supports where I thought they'd be needed and checked them in the preview section of Slic3r.

I made two, one on each DaVinci... my older machine didn't handle it as well, but the fact I could print two at 65% scale and the beak still came out is pretty amazing. I will try to print a full scale or larger version this weekend and paint it next week.

EDIT: Missed the button on the challenge that lists on specific models, oh well... still a good print.

UPDATE: 12/10/16 I added pictures of the 130% scale print. It is about 160mm tall and came out great! Now I just need to file, sand, prime and paint.

** NOTE: The original model is no longer listed on Thingiverse that I can find.  The creator hasn't posted anything there in almost seven years.
