Cable Spool Holder Filament Spool

This cassette style spool holder takes an empty filament spool for storing cables.
It is fully printable but can also be fitted with regular 608 bearings if you want. for winding large amounts of wire, a handy powerdrill tool is also available.
This spool holder can be used as genuine spool holder for printing too

Although this is intended to be used with the new type of Prusament filament spools, it is going to fit a biger variety of 200mm diameter spool also. If you want to modify it for different types of bearing or other spool sizes, you are going to find the .step for download too

Printing:
Print all parts in the given orientation with all settings as you see fit. No support needed. All parts are designed to be printable with 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles. Parts featuring threads are best be printed with 0.2-0,25mm layer hights.

Note: All parts featuring "design" grooves, are also available as plain version for faster printing. 
The design part do need no mmu though and also look nice if printed in just one color too.

Assembly:
See pictures down below. Using a 6mm Hex key for the bolt parts is recommended, but a big flat head screw driver is going to work too. If you are going to use this for storing big amounts of cable, using a 608 bearing instead of the Roller part is highly recommended

Note: Make sure the groove on the Roller part always faces outwards (direction sidecover)

How to use:
Use the Tool part for winding the spool. Be carefull and dont go full speed, because friction heat might melt/weld the roller part. This is esspecially true for very heavy cable reels, since a full spool might easily exceed 1kg weight.
