Loud Dual-Chamber Whistle (Print-in-Place)
Here is a simple but really loud dual-chamber whistle. I designed it to be completely print-in-place, meaning the two little balls inside the chambers print right where they need to be—no assembly or supports required.
Features:
Really Loud: Two separate chambers, each with its own internal ball, create a loud, classic whistle trill.
Easy to Print: The overhangs are designed so you don't need any supports at all.
STEP File Included: Like I always do, I've included the original STEP file so you can easily remix it or tweak the CAD for your own projects.
Lanyard Hole: Built-in loop for a keychain or backpack string.
My Print Settings:
Material: PLA
Supports: None
Infill: 10% Lightning. This makes it print super fast and saves filament, but still gives enough structure for the top layers to close up nicely.
Quick tip: Once it's off the build plate, grab a small screwdriver and poke it through the openings to snap the two internal balls loose. Once they are free to move around, you're good to go!
