Description
This model allows the flag to be removed from the target without tools. I wanted to be able to remove the flag from the target without unscrewing the metal bracket every time. This makes it easier and more compact to transport since I put all of the parts in a 24" duffle bag. You will need screws about 1/4" longer than the original ones due to the thickness of the plastic parts. I made it so the original metal holder bolts to the outside of the plastic piece to protect it when it gets shuffled around in the duffle bag. I have not tried this out at the range but the grip on the flag feels really solid and should hold well when the target is in use. There is a picture of the orientation on the bed for printing and I only paint on support in the area of clamping finger. All of the internals are designed so no internal supports are needed since they would be hard to remove. If you can't paint on supports just do supports from the bed. There will be a little bit of support material in the gap at the top of the clamping finger that will also need to be removed. I used PETG since it has a little bit of give and should be good enough outside. I also printed with 6 perimeters so it prints solid without any infill
