Description
A compact, portable fume extractor in a 1x1x6 Gridfinity form factor. Ideal for storing in Gridfinity tool boxes.
Components
Filter (e.g. Hakko A1001 - cut to size)
4010 fan (e.g. Sunon EE40101S1-1000U-999)
USB PD module (e.g. AITRIP PDC004-PD)
Four M3x14 screws

Material: PETG
Layer height: 0.25
Lid
no top or bottom solid layers
22% honeycomb infill
Bottom bin part
paint-on organic support for the USB-C opening
Assembly
Solder the USB module to the fan
Glue the module to the bottom part of the bin behind the USB-C opening
Stack the components: bottom bin, fan, top bin
Fasten the assembly with four M3x14 screws (the holes are design to be self-threading)
Cut-to-size and insert filter
Slide the lid into place
