Arduino UNO R4 Protective Case with Shield Clearance & Snap‑Fit Mounting
This enclosure is purpose‑built for the Arduino UNO R4 (WiFi or Minima) and provides full vertical clearance for an attached shield, plus a secure snap‑fit base and a removable cover. The design keeps the board protected while still allowing access to all ports, headers, and mounting points.
Place the empty case on a flat surface. For easiest installation, set a small object underneath the center of where the UNO mounts into the case — a socket, bottle cap, or small block works well. This gives you something to press against when flexing the bottom panel.
Place the UNO as far to the right of the case as you can, the power port will sit against the wall.
Press downward with one hand on the upper and lower parementer of the case. This will will cause the floor of the case to bow upwards slightly and open up the tabs that hold the UNO in place.
Press down on the UNO andl you feel the board snap into the upper and lower tabs.
Once snapped in, slide the UNO R4 to the right. This aligns the barrel power jack with the dedicated cutout in the case wall. You’ll feel it settle into place when the port is fully seated.
If using a shield, plug it onto the UNO now. The enclosure provides enough vertical clearance for standard shields.
Place the cover on top and gently press it into position.
