Description
A monolithic desk organizer that handles three things at once:
Left zone — thin vertical slot, open on top + front + back. Drop
in a phone, a slim notebook, a stack of business cards, a menu card.
- Middle zone — paper-pad well sized for a 90 × 90 mm sticky-note
cube. Tall back wall keeps the pad upright; sides slope from the
back down to a low front lip; the front lip is split in the middle
so your thumbs reach in to grab a sheet from the front.
- Right zone — solid column with deep round holes for pens / pencils
/ markers and one elongated slot for scissors (tips down). The front
face has a pencil icon inlay; the right face has a scissors icon
inlay — both two-color drop-in inserts.
Three STL files for two-color AMS printing:
paper_block_organizer_body.stl— main body, drilled holes + icon
recesses (filament A — blue in the photos)
- paper_block_organizer_pencil_inlay.stl— pencil silhouette that
drops flush into the front face (filament B — black in the photos)
- paper_block_organizer_scissors_inlay.stl— scissor silhouette
that drops flush into the right face (filament B)
Assembly in Bambu Studio:
Import all three STLs as a single combined object (concatenate them
into one ASCII STL or use Import → right-click → "Split to Parts"
on the bundled file). Coordinates are already locked — the inlays
land precisely in their recesses.
2. Assign filament 1 (body color) to the body, filament 2 (icon color)
to both inlays.
3. Print flat on the bed, all wells facing up. No supports — every
overhang is < 45°.
Single-color printing works too — just print the body alone. The icon
recesses read as engravings without inlay fill.
Prints flat on the bed, ~90 × 230 × 75 mm, ~5 h on a Bambu P2S in
PLA at 0.2 mm.
