Description
This is designed to vertically hold a caliper on to the lens assembly of a Boss brand laser, so you can measure the distance from the lens to the bed. By measuring that distance in different locations you can see whether or not your bed is level.
Most caliper brands seem to have the same end width (see pics), but different brands have different doohickeys on the end that stick out and can interfere with fit. The "Non Brand Specific" model should fit most caliper models because it relies on the end width, and has plenty of room for doohickeys.
The calipers can bang against the laser and bad stuff can happen.
