Description
My fusion 360 student account is running out, so I thought I would hand one of my projects over to the community! This is my take on a 3D printed needle bearing. The needles are all cut using a provided jig from 1.75mm filament. It is just for my own amusement, but could easily be adapted to fit a home application. I currently feel that it could use some adaptation before being released as a parametric model, but alas... I lack such time. Here is where the community comes in!
Main issues currently.
Requires glue to assemble.
Filament needles are slightly curved from spool.
(not a big issue, but my current retainers are not very firm)
Only free spins for a second or two with lubrication
I have included the .f3D file
