Description
Introducing the "Advanced Shock Mount For Fifine AM8T". This model is based on The Printing Pilot's original design with the addition of free movement. I needed to change the mount due to my partner having issues while streaming (Here is her page xlittlefootxo and mine Manager_Josh).
NOTE: This does add about an inch-1.5 inch in length from the mount to the boom arm however it may be bennificial to you.
You will need:
- 4 30mm OD 25mm 2.5mm width O Rings (per The Printing Pilot)
- 1 M6 x 30mm (Placed in the neck of the mount)
- 1 M6 x 20mm (Placed in connection to the two rotator necks)
- 2 M6 Nuts (one placed inside of the swivel neck and one to tighten on the tilt neck)
Optional: You can find a washer or washers to protect the print from wearing down. Loctite or other adhesives on the bolt may be beneficial to hold the tension on the swivel neck.
Settings:
- 3 walls
- 5-10 percent gyroid infil
- 3-5 top/bottom layers
- Use the paint setting in your slicer for a multi color logo on the mount as I have
You could certainly print this in PETG however expect the overall print to be heavier. PLA and PLA+/pro/lite have all worked just fine for me without fail.
Feel free to comment or message me if you have any questions as I am chronically online <3
Happy Printing!!
