Description
This is a universal storage holder for Kenwood mixer attachments, designed to work with both older (spring-ring) and newer (bayonet-style) systems.
Instead of copying the original locking mechanism, this design uses a flexible friction clamp around the shaft. This makes it easy to print, tolerant to small dimensional differences, and compatible across multiple Kenwood generations.
Key features:
Works with old and new Kenwood attachments
Easy insert - push in, twist to release
No supports required
Optimized for FDM printing
Compact and clean design for kitchen storage
How it works:
The holder uses three flexible arms to clamp the shaft. A small ramp near the top reduces the removal force when you twist the tool, making it much easier to take out compared to a pure friction fit.
Printing recommendations:
PLA: works well, slightly stiffer feel
PETG: more forgiving and smoother insertion
If the fit is too tight or too loose:
Adjust scale slightly in the slicer, <1% should be enough
Different printers and materials may require small tuning
Tested with older Kenwood tools.
Due to the flexible clamp design, it is expected to also work with newer models – feedback is welcome!
