Description
This is a fun little print that adds a spur to your medical air boot. Have fun, cowpokes!
Everything posted here is Public Domain, please do literally whatever you want with this!
You can use the 3MF file to print an entire set, it contains:
1x - BootConnector
2x - SpurConnector
1x - Spur
Flex the SpurConnectors onto the outside of the BootConnector
Cut off a small section of filament from the spool
Stick that filament through the hole in one SpurConnector
Then through the hole on the Spur
Then through the hole on the other SpurConnector
With PETG, you should be able to bend the ends of the filament to "lock" the spur into place.
If you want to be extra-secure, some hot-glue or super-glue would work fine, just make sure not to glue the spur, you want it to spin freely.
Support: None
Each part prints with the flat side on the bed
No overhangs
Filament:
BootConnector: PETG
You want that slight flex that PETG gives you
SpurConnector: PETG
You'll be flexing this part over the BootConnector
Spur: PETG/PLA/Whatever
This part is just to be pretty, use whatever you fancy.
Perimeters: 2
Infill: Doesn't matter, nearly every model here will be 99% perimeters.
Download the FreeCAD document in the Model files section. You can edit all the variables in the VarSet to control the spacing, size, and margins of the parts. All parts are driven by those variables, so feel free to create something that fits your air boot.
