Description
A set excellent for storing spices on the kitchen counter and dining table. The spices are stored neatly and are easily accessible thanks to the rotating stand.
Each floor has space for 9 spices jar.
The pieces are valid for bottles with less than 47mm of diameter (more or less), and less than 140mm of height. If you need to put smaller spices bottles, you can design an adapter for the bottles holes.
IKEA GULFDISK
IKEA CITRONHAJ
Tescoma SEASON
All types of spice jars have been tested.
IKEA spice jars have a glass diameter of 43 mm with a height of 81 mm GULDISK and 121 mm CITRONHAJ.
Tescoma SEASON have a glass diameter 40 mm with a height 113 mm.
GULFDISK
CITRONHAJ/SEASON - They differ only in the diameter of the cutout in the holder.
Of course, other combinations are also possible. Lower floor CITRONHAJ, upper floor GULFDISK.
Optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle
Layer height: 0.2mm
Material: PETG
For thread M18Â For thread M18 is used infill pattern Gyroid with density 40% with 4 wall loops, all other parts have 25% density with 2 wall loops
Filament used in photos:Â Prusament PETG Shimmering Violet
Print the models according to the instructions.
The entire model works without any additional parts. No bearings or screws are needed.
The basis of the stand is the side parts of the Prusament spool.
Two pieces are required for the single-tier version and three pieces for the double-tier version.
Note: M18 threads can easily hold the entire weight of two tiers of spice jars.
The weight of 18 IKEA GULFDISKs is 1332 g. The weight of 18 IKEA CITRONHAJs is 1908 g.
Due to the weight of the empty spice jars, I only tried to stack three tiers. More tiers can be used at your own risk.
Warning: the M18 thread, despite the fact that other printing parameters are used on it, can break if tightened too much. I recommend tightening it gently by hand, significant force is not necessary. The clearance between the threads is not too large, so the parts do not come apart. If there is a concern that they might come apart, I recommend gluing them together.Â
I consider these threads to be the most fragile part. But even after several days of use, there is no noticeable damage and everything works as it should.
A 6mm Allen key is required for assembly.
Assembly procedure:
Disassemble the spool of Prusament and insert the legs from the outside into one of the sides. A minimum of 4 pieces is recommended.Â
Insert the nut into the spool and secure it with the counter piece.Â
Take the other side of the spool and insert the middle swivel bracket into it and secure it with the slotted bracket. Set to a notch.
For a tiered stand, take another spool, center console, and secure it with a slotted bracket.
Screw the second floor to the first with a locking screw. Use a 6 mm Allen key. A lot of force is not needed to prevent the screw from breaking.
Screw the holder onto the upper part according to the assembled design.
Add spices and enjoy.
The folders contain 3D models of the assemblies for easier assembly.
The goal was to design a useful kitchen equipment, without the need to use other connecting material. The effort was to minimize the parts as much as possible but still maintain functionality. For example, the height of the circle in which the spice jars are located is important, so that the spices do not fall out during rotation. Also the compatibility between the single-tier and double-tier version. Upgrading to the double-tier version is done simply by unscrewing the upper bracket and inserting the next tier. The rotation is smooth and continuous even without the use of bearings. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
