Description
Lid for 0.5L and 0.33L beverage cans to prevent insects from entering the can.
Material consumption is just 10,5 grams (3,5 meters) of filament.
On most cans, the lid snaps shut and doesn’t open on its own—this feature has proven useful in my car because it prevents spills. However, the lid is not completely watertight.
I modified the lid to make it easier to print. The hole for the pin has been enlarged to reduce layer adhesion in the pin—some older printers had trouble with this. Now the lid moves much more freely and is easier to operate.
I increased the opening angle—this should prevent the tab from breaking if you accidentally bump the lid somewhere (it’s also easier for me to drink from the can because the lid isn’t right in front of my face).
During the modification, I removed the hidden logo.
