Description
A sliding case to organize and carry Euro coins. It holds up to 2x2€, 2x1€, 2x0.50€, 2x0.20€ and 3x0.10€ = total 7.70€.
Remixed and completely redesigned from a model made for Japanese Yen coins.
Best printed in PLA or PETG. Closing and Open snapping force will be a little higher with PETG.
Some comments on the original design suggested using TPU to avoid coins making noises when moving. I have tested it with TPU 95A but the latch becomes too loose, and the case can slide open too easily.
After printing and initial assembly, it will require to make around 30 complete close-to-open slides for break-in and to smooth out all the sliding surfaces and the snapping features.
Printed in 0.2mm layer height, on Elegoo Neptune 4 0.4mm nozzle, Elegoo Rapid PLA +, no support needed for the Case, support needed for the Lid, 15% infill Grid, ~2 hour print time (both models printed together).
