Description
A very simple cover to use a cosmetic tissue box available in the supermarket with a fancier look. The cover is detachable and designed so that the outer casing can be replaced separately. Replaceable decoration printed in vase mode.
To apply the cover designs, I used the tool on the site BumpMesh by CNC Kitchen
The wooden decor is taken directly from the website. For the rest I used a custom map, it works great with photos too. I can recommend it.
I measured out a tissue box in advance and then made a cover for it. The tissue boxes available in stores in my region have a thin cardboard box and are easy to insert into the cover.
The size of the tissue box is limited by the size of the spool. In this case, I use tissues in a box of approximately 112x122x122 mm.
The cover printed in vase mode is modified to remove the bottom of the resulting vase, leaving only the bottom edge, 10 mm wide.
Assembling the model is easy, no glue is needed. The side stops and brackets are just pressed into place in the lower base. A dovetail joint is used on the top for quick replacement of the napkin box. The printed parts are attached to the spool panels with a bayonet mechanism. It can be used quickly if necessary.
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Supports: No
Infill: Grid 15%
Tropical leaves: Prusament PLA Galaxy Green
Wood decor: AURAPOL PET-G Filament ARMY Desert Storm
While testing the design, I got the idea to put a light inside. I liked the resulting design, so I decided to modify a few components and upload the LED lamp as a separate model.
