Description
Displayed configuration supports 30x30 FC/ESC stack and 20x20 hybrid VTX/RC Link and includes both a T antenna mount and a SMA mount. This configuration also uses a second Shen top plate for the bottom, inverted mounted VTX. If you have some Squirt parts in your parts bin; you can build this.
Design Philosophy:
3.5 Inch FPV supporting a 30x30 FC / ESC Stack.
Place the high output and heavy VTX in the optimal Center of Gravity down low in the frame to keep the CG from being too high or too far aft with a battery mounted.
Provide a clean way to mount a Lumenier Remote ID module, protect it, and provide cable routing while placing it away from the VTX Antenna giving it better RF performance.
Separate Cable routing to minimize RF interference. All wires are de-conflicted so that they are protected from stress, don't make contact, and avoid the risk of energy from the battery or the Motor cables putting energy into the RC or the VTX cables.
Print parts as depicted in the build plate.
For PLA I'm using 15% infil with organic supports.
For PC Blend use 15% inflil .15 Structural with organic support; supports on the build plate only.
Use 20mm standoffs.
Be aware that the top plate is 24mm above the main plate due to the 2mm rim on the top and the bottom mounted parts: Camera and RID mounts in the front and the SMA and Battery Cable holder in the rear. This will require the use of longer M3 screws.
