Description
The travel telescope by Anders is a great telescope but the nature of the build means it's a bit unsteady. Especially the 900mm variant can be a bit unstable. Also if you mount a camera to the focusser it will be a challenge to keep collimation.
That's why I tried to make the telescope a bit sturdier by adding a brace created from 2 pieces of 20x20 extrusion. It does feel a bit sturdier but im not satisfied yet. Uploaded these models to maybe give others people some inspiration.
The fit is quite tight so you might need to sand the edges a bit to make the rings fit.
2x M6 heat inserts needed to mount the extusion to the braces
