Insta360 X5 Lens Guard Storage

This is a lens guard storage case for the insta360x5.

Made from flexible 83A shore TPU, it fully supports the lens guards on both internal and external surfaces without scratching. The internal domes and external covers have infill at 10% to achieve cushioning protection from knocks and drops. The base and top sections are an interference fit, but with the added closure security of mild dove-tails on the four catches. Light pressure is required to open and close the case - but the cases are flexible in any event.

Note: I have both, std and prem lens guards identical dimensions, both fit in this case. The prem are simply tempered glass and I have seen no difference in vid quality / distortion / refraction between them

Base prints right way up, no supports. Top prints inverted, no supports. Use an interlocking infill pattern at a low percent to achieve cushion protection ( I used gyroid at 10%).

Why a reputable company would sell expensive lens guards that can't be used in some circumstances e.g. water sports, but then gives no way to store them safely is beyond me. Their over-sight is our excuse for a new project!
