Description
This is an extremely hacked together shell for a keyboard with an integrated monitor. Top section has small indents for usb c / usb a storage
Parts used:
nuphy node75 low profile keyboard (internals extracted)
waveshare 6.25" hdmi screen
adafruit usb c female breakout
adafruit usb A male breakout
usb hub with hdmi port
90 deg hdmi adapter
hdmi male to male adapter
m2 x8mm countersunk screws and slim profile nuts
molex or jst-ph wires, but this can be any set of wires to connect the usb breakout boards.
For this build, i also replaced 2 of the nuphy keyboard's internal cables with assembled jst 1.0 silicon wire plugs. the jst plugs' wires reverse orientation from one end to the other, if both ends' metal sections are visible. See photos for teardown / assembly reference. Whole thing printed in PLA except for led glass printed in sainsmart clear TPU.
As part of my build, I replaced the silicon keys cushion with a print - that part was printed with only 1 floor, no walls, no top layers - only infill in gyroid pattern. Battery was removed from
Model has been provided along with freecad file, in both sliced and unsliced versions. Final build picture has cerakey low profile keycaps.
