Description
There are some RTK wall mounts already, I know, but what bugged me, is one thing:
none of them keeps water from running down the arm of the antenna.
And yes, I also know that this might not be state of the art due to new versions without needing RTK antennas at all... But my Yuka does a good job and the print is from last fall ๐
I didn't want water running down to the wall, so the design is based on this topic: no water will reach the base of the wall mount.
It's an outdoor product after all.
The arm is hollow to run the cable through, also it has a low spot with a drain hole.
Either water runs down to this point and can go up to the base or even if some water might get inside the tube, that's where it can drop out of it.
Choose one kind of arm depending on your situation. You can insert the cable through the side of the arm or completely through the base.
You also need a base. The two parts are mounted using M3 heat inserts in the RTKarm and ISO 4762 bolts M3x25 (max. length, you need at least M3x10).
And just to be clear the RTK always aligns with the arm as it is in the pictureย ๐
Enjoy and let me know, if you need anything else!
