Description
We have a bare light bulb in the cupboard under the stairs which never bothered me until I recently upgraded it to LED and suddenly it's so bright it was crying out for a diffuser. This is inspired by this blender tutorial making organic shapes from a UVsphere, truncated top and bottom and slightly elongated to print nicer in vase mode
I needed it for a wall fixture but it should be fine for a ceiling or hanging mounted B22 also
I printed it in transparent eSun PETG in vase mode. I bumped up the number of solid bottom layers (I chose 12 but I'm sure 6 would be plenty). I used a 0.4 nozzle though in hindsight larger would probably work out even better.
If you have a need for a wider fitting for an ES27 say, a negative volume cylinder to cut a bigger hole the bottom will open up the fitting for you as I left enough diameter in the base to cater.
