Description
One night i could not sleep and came across Peltier cooled Magsafe chargers. My phone was lagging like hell after being charged and giving directions on a long card drive. iPhone 15 Pro Max
So i thought i would give it a try. The Aukey Magfusion charger was on sale at Euronics at the time. I ordered it. The Aukey Magsafe charger was designed to keep your phone cool, while you are gaming, but i don't do that.
I already have a Spigen Magsafe Charger installed, been working fine for the past 2 years.
I made a sketch of the Magsafe Charger itself, if you want to give it a go.
It cools the surface down to 1C, if you have a phone installed 10C. According to Youtube video it charges faster than via cable, because of the active cooling. I did not test that.
Here is the OnShape File, it is kind of a mass, i am a self-taught 3D designer. This is my most complex design yet.
Used Hardware:
M3 Bolt M3x16 should be fine
M3 Heat Set Insert the spiral one(see photo). OD: measured 4.97mm Length: 6mm (from Aliexpress long time ago)
After the fact it would have been easier just design a whole lever arm (see last two picture) instead of the ball joint. The ball joint was hard, i found an already working design and cut it apart in Prusaslicer. Merged it to my Base. Removed the base as much as possible, to minimize the torque. Removed the inner plastic and designed a TPU insert instead.
Thank you @MORON!
PLA will not stand a chance! Currently printing it via PA6-CF
