Description
This is a recreation of the cover art of The Prodigy's Music for the Jilted Generation. It's also called The 20th Century Scream and was originally created by Jonathan Tucker-Bull and slightly added to and photographed by Stuart Haygarth. I've wanted one of these on my walls for some years now but it couldn't be bought anywhere so I decided to sculpt it myself in Blender. From the angle that the album art was shot from it's 99% accurate, but from other angles it might differ a bit more, but it's still very accurate.
A thing to remember when printing though is that it might not have exactly the same feeling as the photograph since it's taken quite close up with a wide angle lens which distorts the face a bit. I've contemplated to stretch the model a bit to give it the same feeling when looking further away (which one most probably will do). But not now, might update it here later if I feel like it :)
I made one square and one circle version of it, print whichever you feel like. I've printed one of each and both times I had it standing on the side but upside down and angled maybe 20 degrees to minimize layer lines. I used a 0.4mm nozzle with a layer height on 0.08 and also using fuzzy skin, all to reduce the layer lines even more. Used matte black filament on print and ash grey on the other, both dry brushed using silver paint, doesn't need much more than that to look great :)
