The owls in this wind chime are real hooters!
When the wind blows lightly, you hear the soothing bonks as the striker hits the owls and when the wind picks up, they start to hoot. Watch the demos below!
Note: You must scale the base model of the owl to the desired size. In the image the heights are 14cm, 18cm and 22cm. The larger the owl, the deeper and richer the sound. You can also use the prepared 3mf files (for MK4 and beyond) for instant printing.

You have to print three owls.
Scale the base model to the sizes you want, at least 14cm height, at most 22cm height.
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Supports: only one needed at the tip of the beak; use an support enforcer and organic supports on the print bed
Important: Be careful when removing the support from the beak!
Note: The hanger (round thing on which you mount everything) tends to bend in the sun when using PLA. If you have an empty Prusament spool left, please consider printing my Prusament spool remix.
use at least 50% infill for the striker and sail.
I recommend concentric infill for bottom and top layer
You need a about 1mm thick thread.
Attach the thread to the left hanger of an owl, thread through one left hole (without beam) of the suspension platform and back again through the right hole. Attach to right hanger of the owl according to the height of your liking. Repeat for the remaining owls.
Put a thread through the sail and fix with a knot. Then thread through the striker and put a knot at a height such that the striker can hit each of the owls. Thread through the middle of the suspension platform.
Put a thread with a knot at the end through each of the remaining holes from the bottom in the suspension platform. Balance the suspension platform and put a knot through all three threads and, e.g., fix them on a key ring.
