Revision History

v1.0 - Original, completely flat top

v1.1 - 4x variations, with:

  • flat top

  • outline (black + eyes) raised above the other parts; flat other parts

  • outline (black + eyes) raised, mushroom spots raised and chamfered

  • outline (black + eyes) raised, mushroom spots raised and rounded

Model size: approx 42x44mm (actual size is slightly larger ~42.16 x 44.23 mm)

This model contains 6x parts for easy coloured printing, which push together into the outline which doubles as a frame and casing.

I have included 3x models each with different inner part clearances to hopefully suit your printer better for a snug fit. The magnet pocket protrudes through the rear of the casing and slightly into the middle spot so that it contacts the fridge directly giving it more strength.

The magnet I chose is 10x3mm.

I've included models with diametrical clearances (DC - the total gap either side of a part):

  • 0.1mm (0.05mm either side)

  • 0.2mm (0.1mm either side)

  • 0.3mm (0.15mm either side)

I print mine with DC 0.1mm in Bambu PETG Basic on a Bambu A1, and the parts snap together nicely. The face requires a bit of persuasion by sandwiching between two hard surfaces and pushing it together, but it fits really snugly. The spots and mushroom head can be pushed in without too much effort.

I would recommend printing all parts upside down so that the face side has the nice uniform texture of the plate. Supports are essential for the outline part if you do this, but you cannot see any of these surfaces.
