Description
This expansion pack introduces alternative pendulum weight designs for the Kinetic Spiral system.
Designed for the original Kinetic Spiral Wind Chime:
Different shapes create different airflow behavior, pendulum response and movement characteristics under changing wind conditions.
These weights can be used with the original Kinetic Spiral Wind Chime model or as standalone hanging kinetic objects.

These pendulum weights are designed for the original:
Kinetic Spiral Wind Chime
The weights can be attached using the same suspension method as the original pendulum system.
Different shapes create different movement profiles and airflow behavior inside the spiral structure.
The pendulum weights can also be used as standalone hanging kinetic objects.
Depending on suspension length and wind conditions, the different shapes create their own movement behavior and airflow response outside of the main spiral system.

Supports: not needed
Attach the pendulum weights using a thin string connection to allow unrestricted movement and natural pendulum behavior.
For best performance, use lightweight print settings and low-friction suspension points.
The movement behavior depends on:
Wind conditions
Weight distribution
Suspension length
Print weight and material
The more open designs generally react faster to airflow, while larger surface areas can create slower and more stable pendulum movement.
