Honeycomb Hinged Storage Box — Large (PIP, 3 sizes)

A large rectangular storage box with a honeycomb hex pattern on every wall and a print-in-place piano hinge on the long edge. The lid closes flush, snaps shut, and prints OPEN in one go — no glue, no screws, no post-assembly.

Three ready-to-print sizes are included:

  • Large — 230 × 130 × 80 mm  (general storage)

  • Tray  — 230 × 130 × 40 mm  (shallow desk-organiser / jewellery)

  • Tall  — 180 × 100 × 120 mm (pens, cables, utensils)

Print orientation: PIP-vertical (lid stood up 90° behind the body). On the long-edge hinge the lid's print Z equals the SHORT side of the box, so even the Large at 230 × 130 only needs Z ≈ 210 mm — fits a Bambu P2S envelope.

Parametric SCAD source included — override box_x / box_y / box_zat the top of the file to derive your own size.
