Racing Simulator Steering Wheel Isolator

This listing is for a sim racing steering wheel isolator. I ran into an issue recently where I was getting phantom button presses on a steering wheel due to continuity between the steering wheel and wheel base. This plastic isolator bolts between the wheel and base, breaking that connection, and stopping EMI or electrical flow through. This can go between the base and quick release or wheel and quick release. The isolator uses a 70mm standard bolt pattern.

There are 2 versions of this isolator. 1 using 3 mounting points and 1 using all 6. Depending on what you're mounting this to, you may not be able to access the bolts for tightening, in that case use the 3 mount version. The 6 mount version is the strongest mount. I was seeing a bit of flex in my QR tabs when I tried the 3 mount version.

You will need m5 countersunk bolts for this. I was using m5 x 16mm bolts in the picture for connecting to the VRS base and q1r mount.

My Print Settings:

Layer Height: .25mm

Infill: 60%

Perimeters: 8

Note: On the 6 mount version, you will need to recalibrate your wheelbase for center.
