Description
A snarling gargoyle head on a 62 mm round backplate — mounts flat on
a wall and serves as a hook. The face protrudes ~25 mm from the
wall; drape a hand towel, dish rag, keys on a lanyard, a face mask,
or any small item over the head and it stays put.
Two versions in the bundle:
gargoyle_hook.stl — backplate with two M4 screw thru-holes for
drywall / sheetrock mounting
- gargoyle_hook_plain.stl — backplate without holes, for glue-only
or 3M-strip mounting on tile / glass / painted surfaces
Print notes:
Disk-flat-on-bed orientation, gargoyle face pointing UP during print
- 0.2 mm layer, 15–20 % infill is plenty (it's mostly decorative)
- No supports needed — the floor_clip trim makes any deep-embedded
back-of-head geometry get cut flat by the bed
- ~60 mm wide × ~40 mm tall (gargoyle) × ~30 mm deep total
- PLA / PETG both fine; matte black or stone-grey filament looks most
gargoyle-like
Mount with two short drywall screws (M4 or #6) on the with-holes
version, or four small 3M-style adhesive squares around the disk
back on the plain version.
