Cassandra Delta Printer

Here is my second DELTA printer called CASSANDRA. It is a normal size printer with a print diameter of about 210 mm and a print height of about 235 mm. Because this thing is made from aluminum profiles 10x10 mm, 1 mm thick, print speed is about 30-40 mm / s. But prints quite nicely, isn't?

As extruder here is TwoTrees Titan extruder and E3D V6 clone hotend with PTFE heatbreak and nozzle 0,4mm. Here isn't heatbed, only ordinary glass 3mm thick. So it is possible to print from PLA or PETG, since these materials do not require a heatbed. BTW orange female torso is printed from PETG, all others from PLA. On this printer, of course...

Printer motors are Moons NEMA14 0.9 °, mainboard is slightly modified Creality 1.1.4 (added 1K resistor for bed leveling probe). I use a rotary encoder to control the printer and LCD display is connected to I2C. since the motherboard uses A4988 drivers, I have connected TL-smoothers, for better and quietter motion.

All printed parts are made mostly from orange PETG, like PRUSA :-), some parts are made from PLA, some parts are printed on this printer.

Dimensions of this printer are 338x299x600mm, diagonal rods are 250mm long. Printer is mount to base from MDF, 16mm thick

Designed in SketchUp Make 2017 (*.skp added), printed mostly from PETG, 0,2mm layer and 30% infill.

All bolts, washers and nuts (inserts) are M3 (various longity), except M2x10 for endstops and M4x10 for extruder. Motors has integrated 16-t pulley for GT2 belt, idlers are 16-t too.

Added settings for Marlin 1.1.8 and profiles for PrusaSlicer
