Description
I designed this case fan adapter to fit a 92mm fan that I had lying around. It is meant to hold printable desiccant cartridges.
I printed the cartridges on this filament: https://www.timeplast.com/store/p/desiccant-filament
The magazine was printed on TPU for it's heat resistance and durability.
Cartridge A and B are meant to only fit one way so if it feels snug swap the cartridge 90 degrees and try it again. The cartridges are meant to layer over one another to give more surface area for air to flow in and around. I left the stringing on the prints to add surface area on top of that. If desired, stringing can easily be removed with a few "coats" of "sanding" with a wet paper towel. The material is water soluble so it is easily done.
For a quick demonstration, I used the device to make a rudimentary filament dryer.
