[ DESCRIPTION ]
The "Open Chambre" series is a collection of 3D-printable

Size: 49 x 41 x 6 cm
Avg. print time: 70H.
Optimized for FDM 3D printing

[ PRINT SETTINGS ]
> NOZZLE : 0.4mm (recommended)
> LAYER HEIGHT : 0.2mm
> INFILL : 15%
> MATERIAL : PLA or PETg
> STANDARD COLOR SCHEME: Black frame, White specimen, blue and red color accents (but it is of course up to you)
[ HARDWARE ]
Frame parts need M3 x 8mm screws and M3 square nuts (5.5 x 5.5 x 2.6mm) to connect to each-other.
Smaller parts can be attached with glue.
CHAMBRE 002's main specimen was created in Nomad Sculpt, not in CAD like most of my DIY art, and should be printed in one go. Because it is rather big, it will not fit on a small printer like PRUSA MINI, unless you split the model inside the slicer.

[ Print Manual ]
This artwork is divided into 22 files.
Print the 9 "Base" files for the frame. They do not need supports, but a brim or helper-disks (I prefer helper-disks) can help stabilize the base onto the printer’s plate.
Fasten the Base with M3 x 8mm screws and M3 square nuts.
Print the 11 "Ripple" files (S.C.S.: blue), and glue them into the frame.
Print the "OCTO-BENCHY“ (S.C.S.: black plate / white specimen). You will need to start with black for the bottom plate (or whatever color you chose for the frame), then do a filament change after 1mm to print the octopus and benchy. Glue the octo-benchy into the frame.
NOTE: OCTO-BENCHY is also available in 3MF format with separate bodies, if you want to use a multicolor printer.
Print 17 “lights" (S.C.S.: blue and red), and glue them into the holes at the center of all the hexagonal pilars.
