Description
A simple snap-on / screw-on poop chute for the Creality K2-SE to direct purge waste neatly into a removable bin instead of behind the printer.
Designed specifically because the K2-SE ships without a proper purge chute.
I've included, as always, a STEP file for anyone to modify, improve or just tinker with. You're welcome!
Cleanly directs purge filament into a catch bin
Removable bucket/bin for easy emptying
Uses the existing blank mounting holes on the rear of the K2-SE
Includes a sacrificial printed support tab that snaps off cleanly after printing
Prints easily without additional supports
Minimal hardware required
2× M4 bolts, 8mm length recommended
The bolts are threaded directly into the existing blank holes on the rear of the printer, creating their own threads in the plastic.
Recommended settings:
Material: PLA works perfectly
Layer height: 0.2mm
Walls/Perimeters: 3
Infill: 15–20%
Supports: None required
The built-in sacrificial support section should be snapped off after printing using fingers or pliers.
Print the chute and bucket
Snap off the sacrificial support piece
Align the mount with the two blank holes on the rear of the K2-SE
Carefully drive the two M4×8mm bolts into the holes
Slide or place the bucket into position
PLA is sufficient since the part is not exposed to significant heat
PETG or ABS can also be used if preferred
Do not overtighten the bolts — they only need to bite enough to hold securely
