Alesis DM7X Nitro Mesh replacement wingnuts

Replacement wingnuts for the bar clamps on the Alesis Nitro Mesh series. May work with others.

Bought a DM7X off C/L only to find that some of the wingnut housings for tightening the bar clamps on the drum rack were broken. Also had a couple break while assembling it. Clearly not well made.

Whipped up these in F360. I figured I might not be the only one to run into this issue so here they are!

I've included both a captive and open design. I made the captive one initially but the printing was a bit hit or miss for me so I went with the open one and a bit of epoxy in the well.

For the captive, just set a filament change when slicing for the layer where the well for the nut start to close up (139 IIRC).

Nuts are M5 w/ 8mm across measured side to side (found a few M5 nuts in my spare parts bin that were not 8mm across so they didnt fit)

Also, these are designed for nuts slightly under 4mm in height if you want the opens ones to be flush or to fit the captive ones.

Printed in PETG with 50% gyroid infill and 5 shells all the way around for strength.

Layer height works fine at .1 or .2 if you dont mind the coarser look.
